War is an ugly business. Some people who donated a part of their lives to serving their country have a difficult time coping with what they’ve experienced.

They’ve tried everything and found no help …

Until they meet their service dogs! It cost $27,000 to train one service dog. These highly trained animals create a lifeline for PTSD sufferers. TRAILHOUND SMOKERS made a difference – they sponsor a dog every year!

K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service post 9/11. Their goal is to give a new leash on life to rescue dogs and military heroes, empowering warriors to return to civilian life with dignity and independence.
