Oregon Women in Timber is a state-wide, non-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness of the importance of forests, trees and wood products in our daily lives. We strive to inform ourselves and others of the importance of sustainable forests to our environment and our economy.

The Young Professionals Networking Group in San Luis Obispo, founded in 2006, is a 501(c)(4) organization that connects local young professionals with community events, professional seminars and various social networking functions. Thanks to support from our members, sponsors, and advertisers YPNG has donated over $42,203 to local non-profits since 2010.
Our Mission
It is the mission of YPNG to enrich the lives of young professionals by facilitating events which create opportunities for professional development, community involvement, and the establishment of personal connections with other young professionals.
We are recent graduates, creatives, technical specialists and experienced in our fields. Some of us are locals and some are new to town – doesn’t matter to us, we’d love to meet you! Sunbuggy and YPNG are here for you!

In 2000, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society was founded to save as many animals as possible from unnecessary suffering. We also aim to provide affordable services to the people of the Las Vegas community who need assistance caring for their loved pets, and we work every day to serve those who are most vulnerable – including our community cats.
In the last two decades, we’ve done so much in working towards this mission, including performing over 150,000 spay/neuter surgeries. These surgeries have saved hundreds of thousands of animals from homelessness, illness, and euthanasia – but we still have so much left to do. In providing the highest quality care & services to those who are usually overlooked and uncared for, we need your help. Together we can work towards a world where a loving home is waiting for every pet. Can we count on your gift today?

Nevada Special Olympics prides themselves on offering a wide variety of services to our athletes. Our sports training and competition opportunities provide athletes of all ability levels the chance to play and be part of a team. Skills like being a good teammate, winning with grace, and encouraging others are all skills that carry over into their everyday lives. We’re in our schools! Through sports, we are bringing special education students and general education students on the same playing field, promoting acceptance and respect for all.

We’re a non-profit that consists of active fire department personnel providing support to victims of fires & catastrophic events. The Burn Survivor Initiative raises funds to help more children attend seasonal burn camps, receive counseling and attend school reintegration programs. The Burn Foundation also collects toys for the disadvantaged children throughout the valley, and have provided at least one toy to thousands of children in need during the holidays.

They’ve tried everything and found no help … they feel desperate, frightened ….
Until they meet their service dogs! It cost $27,000 to train one service dog. These highly trained animals create a lifeline for PTSD sufferers. TRAILHOUND SMOKERS makes a difference – they sponsor a dog every year!

K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service post 9/11. Their goal is to give a new leash on life to rescue dogs and military heroes, empowering warriors to return to civilian life with dignity and independence.

Doral Academy of Nevada is dedicated to providing an enhanced educational experience. We will develop outstanding student achievement with focus on each child being well-rounded in all parts of their education. Students will be prepared in an academically challenging and personally meaningful learning environment with an emphasis on arts integration. A collaborative effort including all students, teachers, parents, and staff will be devoted to establishing, achieving, and celebrating individual goals for each child at Doral Academy.
The Doral Foundation Gala is a parent night of celebration. The Doral Foundation raises much needed funds for all Doral schools. The Gala is the biggest fundraising event of the Foundation.
