The Clark County School District’s (CCSD) Employee Onboarding and Development Department of the Human Resources Division is sponsoring the 2018 New Teacher Onboarding Kickoff. This event will take place at the Texas Station Gambling Hall and Hotel. This experience will provide exciting opportunities for 1,600 school teachers new to the Clark County School District to share ideas, network with colleagues, and receive training outside of the normal work environment.
Currently they are planning to conduct several raffles for new teachers during the opening, lunch, and closing sessions of the Kick-Off.

The Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS) / Vet Center Program was established by congress in 1979 out of the recognition that a significant number of Vietnam Era Veterans were still experiencing readjustment problems. Vet Centers community based and a branch of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The goal of the Vet Center program is to provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to eligible Veterans in order to help them make a satisfying post-war readjustment to civilian life. All Vet Center services are provided at no cost to the Veteran or family.

The mission of Forgotten Not Gone is to End 22 Daily Veteran Suicides. We proactively engage active duty and Veterans. We help them to become physically active and integrated with society again.

The CASA Foundation in partnership with the Children’s Advocacy Alliance and the Department of Family Services will be hosting a graduation event once again for their foster children who are graduating from High School this year.
Although graduation is exciting, it can also be terrifying for graduates moving forward and out of the legal system. They attempt to make this transition a little less intimidating for them, as they honor the graduate’s accomplishments, and provide a few things to assist in the transition. In previous years, through the generous support of the community, they have been able to provide basic personal items such as towels, toiletries, gift cards, bus passes and a back pack or duffel bag to each graduate.
This donation will be used as a raffle item during the event. It makes the event a little more fun and memorable for the graduate

What we can do, with the support of the community, is save every healthy and treatable animal who comes to us in need.
