9th Annual Bonner Run for Education

Bonner Elementary Run for Education

John Bonner Elementary School is constantly working to ensure that the children at their school strive for and achieve excellence. Donations allows them to work as a team to achieve their goals of providing excellent education for their students. The Bonner staff believes that all students have the potential to be vital contributors to their community. These prospective donations show them that people in our community continue to care about the well-being of our children.

SunBuggy is proud to donate to this worthwhile cause!  We are donating a package worth over $1200 with the hope that it will benefit the 9th Annual Bonner Run for Education.

The Blind Center of Nevada

Blind Center of Nevada

The Blind Center of Nevada assists people who are blind or visually impaired in reaching their highest physical, social, intellectual, and economic potential.

To achieve these objectives they pursue three focus areas: personal development, social interaction, and provident living.

Finding Hope: Life doesn’t stop at blindness, but for many, the hopelessness runs deep. They uplift people by providing emotional rescue, a caring shelter, a welcoming community, and counseling to help members see beyond their visual impairment. Through the Blind Center of Nevada, people find a loving, social refuge—a place that understands and truly cares.

Learning Independence: Within their encouraging family environment, they help members see beyond their visual limits and learn to live an independent life. Their skills training, educational resources, and ongoing assistance all work together to ignite a can-do-spirit that defies boundaries and fuels personal growth.

Pursuing Greatness: Best of all, their center helps members visualize their true potential and work toward achieving great things. Through a wide range of programs—including music, art, fitness, education, and vocational mentorship—they help people reach goals they can be proud of. Greatness isn’t limited to those with sight. They help members achieve great things while living lives that are unbound—and unlimited.

SunBuggy is proud to donate to this worthwhile cause!  We are donating a package worth over $600 with the hope that it will benefit the Blind Center of Nevada.

YMCA of Southern Nevada

YMCA

When it comes to improving the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, no one does it better than the YMCA of Southern Nevada. Established locally in 1944 (two years before Bugsy Siegel opened the Flamingo!) they’re one of the region’s longest-serving and most-respected nonprofit organizations. Like all Ys, theirs is governed by a local volunteer board of directors who make decisions based on community needs.

They’re dedicated to meeting the demands of today’s family. From toddlers to grandparents of toddlers, everyone feels at home at the Y. It’s no surprise considering their four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are at the heart of everything they do. Members of every age and fitness level value their values. It’s the tie that binds their Y family together. It’s what makes them special and keeps members engaged.

Each year, more than 50,000 Southern Nevadans – parents, teens, infants, seniors and at-risk youth – are enriched through the Y. Residents access hundreds of award-winning aquatic, health and fitness, youth and family, and sporting activities led by trained instructors and volunteers. In the process, they meet friends, enjoy social activities and make memories that last a lifetime. Most importantly, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay. The Y Annual Campaign financial assistance program makes it possible. Thanks to generous donors, they’re able to give the Y experience to those who might not otherwise have access.

SunBuggy is proud to donate to this worthwhile cause!  We are donating a package worth over $1200 with the hope that it will benefit the YMCA of Southern Nevada.
