Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
Founded in 1999, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) is dedicated to fighting the world’s toughest cancer. In their urgent mission to save lives, they attack pancreatic cancer on all fronts: research, clinical initiatives, patient services and advocacy. Their effort is amplified by a nationwide network of grassroots support. They are determined to improve patient outcomes today and to double survival by 2020.
During the month of November, people across America will unite to Demand Better in the fight against the world’s toughest cancer. Pancreatic cancer will kill more Americans than breast cancer in 2018 and continues to be the only major cancer with a single-digit survival rate at a mere 9%. It will impact more than 53,600 Americans this year alone.
SunBuggy is proud to donate to this worthwhile cause! We are donating two packages each worth over $490 with the hope that it will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
Junior League of Las Vegas
The Junior League of Las Vegas (JLLV) will celebrate 74 years of service and two women, pillars of our community, with our annual Paint the Town Red Gala on Saturday, March 21st, 2020, at The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas! They are proud to honor Pat Mulroy with The Florence Lee Jones Humanitarian award and Sally Rycroft with The Lifetime Community Achievement Award. This extraordinary evening is Junior League’s largest annual fundraiser, providing much of the funding for their important community-based programs throughout the year.
JLLV is an international organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Their current projects include life skills classes for homeless youth, pop up food banks with Three Square, a unique fashion and design initiative for high school students, a holiday gift program providing gifts to hundreds of needy families, and many collaborations with other local non-profits. Our longest running project, Education Grants, has provided more than $700,000 to Clark County school teachers since its inception in 1985. The Junior League of Las Vegas has also been instrumental in developing local programs that have become staples in our community including the Ronald McDonald House, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, HELP of Southern Nevada and the Shade Tree Shelter.
To continue serving the greater Las Vegas Valley community, they rely on the generosity and support of corporations and individuals like yourself! But when you donate to JLLV, your donations are matched with the time and talents of hundreds of Junior League women! Women who are ready to do the work and build a better Las Vegas!

YMCA of Southern Nevada
When it comes to improving the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, no one does it better than the YMCA of Southern Nevada. Established locally in 1944 (two years before Bugsy Siegel opened the Flamingo!) they’re one of the region’s longest-serving and most-respected nonprofit organizations. Like all Ys, theirs is governed by a local volunteer board of directors who make decisions based on community needs.
They’re dedicated to meeting the demands of today’s family. From toddlers to grandparents of toddlers, everyone feels at home at the Y. It’s no surprise considering their four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are at the heart of everything they do. Members of every age and fitness level value their values. It’s the tie that binds their Y family together. It’s what makes them special and keeps members engaged.
Each year, more than 50,000 Southern Nevadans – parents, teens, infants, seniors and at-risk youth – are enriched through the Y. Residents access hundreds of award-winning aquatic, health and fitness, youth and family, and sporting activities led by trained instructors and volunteers. In the process, they meet friends, enjoy social activities and make memories that last a lifetime. Most importantly, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay. The Y Annual Campaign financial assistance program makes it possible. Thanks to generous donors, they’re able to give the Y experience to those who might not otherwise have access.
